Bin Ends hits the local Boston Papers for the second time in a week today!

Wine dealer aims at close-out market
The owners of Bin Ends aspire to become the Filene’s Basement of the retail wine market.
CEO John Hafferty was at a wholesale distributor’s inventory-reduction wine tasting last year when he realized there was an “enormous” untapped segment of the industry.
Bin Ends opens May 7 in Braintree as an off-price, specialty fine-wine retailer devoting two-thirds of its 400 selections to bin ends – overstock, inventory-reduction and closeout bottles offered at discount prices. Basement, DSW or Syms,”

April 25th:

Braintree store takes Filene’s Basement approach to wine shopping
April 24th:
Next week will be the final week of construction. All the painting is complete, electrical work is almost done and the racks and bins are being installed. We’ve scheduled May 7th as our opening day. Wine will begin arriving next week, and the website should be up and running very shortly.

April 17th:
We’ve filled in windows and doors, cut in new doors, poured cement, put up walls and painted them with the Bin Ends green and Purple! We are truly entering the final stage of the build. Racks and shelves go up next week, computer systems, furniture and WINE! Yes WINE!! We’ll be announcing our opening date VERY soon, but look for the first half of May.
The website is almost done, and we’ll be ready to begin shipping!
